The company seeks to carry out production activities taking into account the balance of environmental and economic interests of the territories where it operates. The company is steadily striving to improve its performance in the field of environmental protection. Care for the environment is an integral part of the Company’s corporate culture and ensures its sustainable development. To prevent possible negative impact, Batys Zher LLP undertakes obligations and undertakes all necessary actions to ensure environmental protection, conservation and restoration of natural resources, including constantly improving products, processes and working conditions for Company employees and partners. MISSION AND OBJECTIVES OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION ENTERPRISE The Company’s mission is to effectively manage the impact of production operations on the environment, ensuring its preservation for the benefit present and future generations. The goal of the Company is to achieve leadership in the field of environmental safety among enterprises engaged in the sale of petroleum products. PRINCIPLES OF COMPANY’S ACTIVITIES IN THE FIELD OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION. The Company’s activities in the field of environmental protection are based on the following principles:

• compliance with the requirements of legislation and other requirements applicable to the Company’s activities in the field of environmental protection, including international law;
• preservation of a favorable environment and biological diversity;
• balance of interests of the Company and the Company when using natural resources;
• intolerance to environmental risks;
• innovativeness in the implementation of environmental technologies;
• priority of preventive measures for measures aimed at localization and elimination of consequences of dangerous events;

         OBJECTIVES OF THE COMPANY IN THE FIELD OF ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION

To implement the mission and achieve the goal, the Company prioritizes the following tasks:

• decrease in the level of negative impact on the environment from the Company’s current economic activities;
• rational use of natural resources in the implementation of the Company’s economic activities, taking measures for their protection, restoration, rehabilitation of disturbed territories;
• ensuring conservation of ecosystems and biodiversity;
• increase the efficiency of the Company’s activities through the development, the systematic implementation of innovative technologies, the use of the best world practices that ensure environmental protection;
  • maintenance of functioning and perfection of a control system in the field of environmental protection of the Company taking into account the risk-oriented approach;
  • ensuring the competence of the Company’s employees by informing and systematically raising the level of environmental education and culture;
  • increasing the responsibility of the Company’s employees and contractors in matters of environmental protection;
  • rapid and effective response and minimization of negative consequences for the environment in the event of emergencies, including the organization of measures to protect wildlife in oil spill zones;
  • cooperation with government bodies, partners and other stakeholders, aimed at developing relations in the field of environmental management and environmental protection;
• carrying out an appropriate analysis and evaluation of ongoing work to determine the results achieved and ensure compliance with the principles set out in this Policy.
